Energy Storage Systems have taken the center stage in the global energy transition to renewables, for security and climate stabilization. From September 20-22 2022 EUROSOLAR will hold its 17th International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES 2022) in collaboration with the new ‘Expo for Decarbonised Industries > ENERGY STORAGE’ (decarbXpo), a large european B2B exhibition on energy storage and decarbonised industries organized by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.

The Tickets

The Event
The International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES 2022) will be held at Messe Düsseldorf with the option to join the IRES online. The combination of conference and exhibition allows visitors deep insight into scientific development and innovation as well as the policy and business conditions for effective energy storage deployment in Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.
The event provides a unique platform for politics, economy and science for renewable energy storage systems. In more than 150 plenary and parallel lectures, and a rich gallery of poster sessions, experts from science, practice, politics and society will focus on the current state of knowledge about energy storage, its systems applications and future direction. The conference is based on several thematic foci wrapped around a large core of refereed scientific presentations on storage technology and innovation. Also addressed in selected keynotes will be legal frameworks, network and market aspects and the business and finance for the rollout of these technologies to the global market
In the past more than 4000 visitors attended the Energy Storage Europe, predecessor of the decarbXpo and IRES each year. The IRES conference is set in a new large trade fair on energy storage and decarbonized industries featuring hundreds of companies.
