Hermann Scheer

Hermann Scheer's political work for the energy transition is, to this day, immeasurable in its implications. He has convinced people around the world of the necessity and the benefits of a decentralized and renewable energy supply. It is also thanks to him that more and more people have become active proponents for the energy transition. As a thought leader he is remembered for his individual perspectives and answers with which he was able to convince. His early statements about the indispensability of the energy transition as well as his statements shortly before his sudden death in 2010 are still relevant today and for the future. Scheer’s farsighted books are a rich source of inspiration for all who desire a peaceful and renewable world.
