1. The IRES is the International Renewable Energy Storage conference that has successfully been organized by  the European Association for Renewable Energy EUROSOLAR since 2006. The conference has emerged as the central platform for sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas on storage technologies - a key issue of future energy supply. The event is an international gathering of all relevant stakeholders: international scientists and researchrs, leaders from the energy storage industries, renewable and conventional energy businesses, grid operators and utilities, from the hybrid and electric vehicle sector, the building trades, science, associations, politics and the financial industry.
2. The 11 International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES 2017) will take place from 14 till 16 March 2017 together with Energy Storage Europe (ESE) at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany. The conference is based on two thematic foci: the scientific research on storage technology (IRES) and the introduction of this technology to the market (ESE). The conference is accompanied by the largest B2B exhibition on storage technologies. The vicinity of the conference and the exhibition guarantees the opportunity of scientists and entrepreneurs to meet and discuss the recent developments of the newest technologies. Tickets to the exhibition as well as to the networking events are included in the registration fee for presenters.
3. The next conference will take place at Messe Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, Germany. More information on the conference center and the public transportation in Düsseldorf can be found here.
4. The conference language is English. Simultaneous translation (GER-ENG, ENG-GER) will only be provided during the conference opening on the first day. All parallel sessions of the scientific IRES sessions will be held in English.
5. The IRES conference program is put together based on the submissions to the international Call for Abstracts.
6. The IRES conference program is put together by an international steering committee, composed of international experts from the field of storage technology and renewable energy. More information about the steering committee and their expertise can be found here.
7. You can submit your paper online until 15 September 2016.
8. The deadline for the Call for Abstracts is 15 September 2016. Please make sure to submit your full abstract via our online platform ConfTool. Abstracts for poster presentations can be submitted until 1 February 2016.
9. The confirmations for presentations will be sent out in the beginning of November 2016. Please understand that it is impossible to inform you about the status or suitability of your paper beforehand.
10. Yes, all presenters at the IRES conference have to pay a nominal fee. More information about the registration and the price structure can be found here.
11. Yes, all presenters at the IRES conference receive a free ticket to the exhibition and will have access to all sessions and the networking events on both evenings of the conference.
12. Registration is possible online. The ticket shop will open in November 2016.
