Launch of the "Nature and Work" Task Force for sustainable employment
The covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the world's socio-economic model. In Italy, awareness of the need to react and create recovery and resilience strategies globally shared with citizens, politicians and administrators, has called our initiative "Nature and Work."
The "Nature and Work" Task Force was promoted by Luciana Castellina, who asked about 15 experts, scientists and professionals of different specializations, entrepreneurs and farmers, all with specific skills and a sure environmental "faith", a non-occasional commitment, but lasting, to translate the ecological battle into concrete disputes.
The main objective is to highlight new sectors of possible employment consistent with a sustainable model to direct those currently employed in productive sectors destined to be cut.
The urgency to tackle this problem obviously arises from the need to collect the indications of the "European green deal" in Italy and to prevent the substantial sum of money allocated to make it from being used to finance the relaunch of the development model we have to fight, the dinosaurs disguised as false modernity.
The general inattention to the environment, always evoked but never really taken seriously, is no wonder: we all know that the transition to a different way of consuming and therefore of producing is a very tough matter, not at all painless: it questions none other than the market domination.
The name "Work and Nature" summarizes our action program, which is to define together a "plan for work" by being an active part, so that the organizations present in the various territories open concrete disputes, checking how European funds will be spent and proposing other goals.
