2016 marked the tenth year of IRES, the successful International Renewable Energy Storage Conference, continued by EUROSOLAR and the WCRE and in cooperation with ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE (conference + expo). The proceedings feature more than 90 presentations and poster that were featured in the three-day conference. In addition the authorized accompanying full papers to the presentations are included.

The IRES is the international forum at which leaders from the energy industry, business, science, associations, politics and the financial industry assemble to access and discuss fresh insights into the state of the art in energy storage, the need for storage capacity and examples of success.

2013 marked the eighth consecutive year of IRES, the successful International Renewable Energy Storage Conference, continued by EUROSOLAR and the WCRE, in cooperation with EnergieAgentur.NRW and numerous additional partners. IRES 2013 attracted large attendance, with more than 500 experts from Germany and 40 other countries. IRES 2013 on CD-ROM contains more than 2,000 pages of material and provides deep insight into energy storage for electricity, heat and mobility.
